Victor Osimhen is set to be under the guidance of a new coach at Napoli, as the Serie A champions have appointed Slovakian Francesco Calzona on a short-term contract.
The official announcement of Calzona’s appointment was made by Napoli on their official social media handle.

Calzona, who also serves as the head coach of the Slovakia national team, has taken over from Walter Mazzarri and has agreed to a six-month deal.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis surprised many by reappointing Mazzarri after a 10-year hiatus following the sacking of Rudi Garcia.
However, the decision did not yield the desired results, as Mazzarri only managed six wins in 17 games in charge.
Initially, De Laurentiis planned to wait until the summer to find a replacement for Mazzarri, but the team’s continued poor performance has prompted the change ahead of Napoli’s Champions League knockout tie with Barcelona.
Calzona will also lead Slovakia at the European Championship in the summer.
