As the much-anticipated match between Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou on March 8 draws near, insights from one of Joshua’s sparring partners provide a unique perspective on the upcoming showdown.
Despite losing his boxing debut to WBC and lineal champion Tyson Fury, Ngannou has been riding a wave of confidence. He managed to knock Fury down in the third round of their fight last October, leading to speculation that Fury was underprepared or even in decline, a sentiment echoed by Fury’s own father, John Fury.
On the other hand, Joshua has been in top form in his recent fights, securing two knockout victories against Robert Helenius and Otto Wallin, and point win over Jermaine Franklin.
Jeamie TKV, a promising fighter, shared his thoughts on the upcoming match with Sky Sports Boxing.
“Both big punchers but I believe that night will be Joshua’s night. I believe that Joshua will get the knockout, and he’s going to shock people.”
TKV, who has been sparring with Joshua in the final weeks of his training camp, warned that people might be underestimating Joshua. He emphasized that Joshua is always improving and that Ngannou needs to be fully prepared to face him.
With the countdown to the big night underway, the fight will be broadcast on both Sky Sports and DAZN, heightening the anticipation.
