Gary Lineker has now been discussing an Arsenal player he absolutely loves following this weekend’s win over Newcastle United.

Mikel Arteta’s team triumphed impressively on Saturday night, alleviating any concerns about a potential European setback.

Lineker praised Saka’s decision-making skills and also highlighted an often overlooked aspect of his game, his strength.

The commentator stated: “He is simply a splendid footballer. His decision-making skills. He appears to be a young, cheerful, pleasant boy, but he is also strong, tough, and competitive.

“He is one of my absolute favourite players.”
