Manchester City are looking to go deep in three competitions but the scheduling leaves the club and fans in a mess
Manchester City, under the management of Pep Guardiola, is facing a challenging schedule set by the FA and Premier League in their quest to defend their Treble.
They are the only team playing in the midweek prior to their FA Cup semi-final, with a home game against Real Madrid on Wednesday night. Despite this, they are scheduled to play Chelsea at Wembley on Saturday afternoon instead of Sunday. Adding to the confusion, Coventry is set to play United on Sunday, even though they have a crucial league match against Hull just two days earlier as they aim for the Championship play-offs.

City will have one less day to recover from the Real Madrid game than they might have expected, as their Premier League match with Brighton has been rescheduled for the midweek following the FA Cup semi-final. However, this game has been moved to Thursday, April 25, which then impacts the subsequent league game.
Consequently, their away game against Nottingham Forest has been rescheduled for Sunday, April 28. Both of these games could be rescheduled again if City advances past Real Madrid in the Champions League.
If City reaches the semi-finals of the Champions League and is required to play the first leg on Tuesday, April 30, the Brighton game will be moved to Wednesday, April 24, and the Forest game to Saturday, April 27. Fans will not be able to make plans for the two away games until after the night of the 17th at the earliest due to the Real Madrid game.
