Italian pundit Giovanni Scotto has revealed that Victor Osimhen, the Super Eagles striker, is poised to make a move to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) this summer. Despite significant interest from English Premier League powerhouses such as Chelsea and Arsenal, PSG appears to have emerged as the frontrunner.

Although Osimhen is currently under contract with Napoli until 2025, it is widely anticipated that he will depart from the Diego Maradona Stadium at the conclusion of the ongoing season.
Speaking to CalcioNapoli, Scotto expressed his belief that PSG, competing in the French Ligue 1, holds a strong advantage in securing the talented player’s signature.

“De Laurentiis was reassured: Osimhen’s 120 million will come, I believe from Paris Saint Germain,” Scotto stated to CalcioNapoli, as reported by Area Napoli. “This money will compensate for the lost Champions League revenues and partially those from the Club World Cup.”
PSG’s interest in Osimhen suggests that they view the Nigerian international as a potential successor to Kylian Mbappé, highlighting their keenness to acquire his services.
