As it appears, Christian Eriksen is leaving. This summer, Manchester United might visit Ajax once more.
Christian Eriksen, a midfielder for Manchester United, could be heading to Ajax in the summer transfer window, according to TuttoMercatoWeb. The Danish star left Brentford for the Red Devils on a free transfer the previous season, influenced by manager Erik ten Hag. He was in great shape until his ankle injury in January 2023.

It has been difficult for Eriksen to stay as consistent since then, and he is currently a mediocre performer. He has not been utilized off the bench in the preceding four games. According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Eriksen’s tenure at United is probably coming to an end before his contract expires in June 2025. That he might leave this summer.
Eriksen’s total assists in the last 13 months have been just three. Clearly, Ten Hag’s current perspective is one of looking beyond himself. The midfield player had the option to accept a new challenge in Turkey earlier this month, but he declined it in order to stay at United. Still, the Red Devils are prepared to part with their £150,000-a-week summer home. Maybe he will get back together with Ajax if he takes a significant wage reduction.
It is possible that Eriksen is not the only seasoned athlete leaving the building. Raphael Varane’s contract expires on June 30, and it is expected that he will sign a free transfer. A sale of Casemiro is also planned in light of the Saudi Pro League’s interest.
