Super Falcons’ players, including Chiamaka Nnadozie, Osinachi Ohale, Uchenna Kanu, and Christy Ucheibe, have arrived in Abuja for the Paris 2024 Olympic final qualifiers against South Africa. The arrival of the players was confirmed by the Super Falcons X handle on Tuesday.

Joining them are Toni Payne, Deborah Abiodun, Gift Monday, Jennifer Echegini, Shukurat Oladapo, Chidinma Okeke, and Linda Jiwuaku. With these arrivals, the total number of Falcons players in camp is now 14.
Earlier arrivals on Monday included Rasheedat Ajibade, Tochukwu Oluehi, and Jumoke Alani. Still expected are Michelle Alozie, Halimatu Ayinde, Rinsola Babajide, Esther Okoronkwo, Ifeoma Onumonu, Asisat Oshoala, and Chiwendu Ihezuo.

The first leg of the Paris 2024 final qualifier between the Falcons and South Africa will take place on Friday, 5 April, at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja. The second leg is scheduled for Tuesday, 9 April, in Pretoria.
The winner between the Falcons and South Africa will join Group C in the women’s football event at the Paris 2024 Olympics. The group also includes 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup champions Spain, former World Cup winners Japan, and Brazil.
