Ola Aina earned high praise for his contribution to Nottingham Forest’s crucial 3-1 victory over Fulham in Tuesday’s Premier League clash, as the relegation-threatened side secured a vital win.
Aina, making his second appearance for Forest following his recovery from injury, delivered a commendable performance that caught the attention of SkySports, who awarded the Super Eagles defender a rating of seven. He was substituted with seven minutes remaining in the game.
Meanwhile, Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey were also involved in the action, earning ratings of six each.
The victory proved to be significant for Fulham, who now sit on 25 points in the table, just three points clear of the relegation zone.
Fulham started the match strongly, swiftly taking a 2-0 lead within the first 19 minutes through goals from Callum Hudson-Odoi and Chris Wood, with Gibbs-White adding a third just before halftime.
Although Tosin Adarabioyo managed to pull one back for Fulham, it wasn’t enough to prevent the defeat.
